The Houston Improv Festival showcases a ton of great improvised comedy, but hey, that’s only one weekend a year. Well there are several great improv comedy theaters in town where you can get your fix.
Beta plays host to stand-up, sketch and improvised comedy acts from Houston and beyond. The group was founded by Jeromy Barber and holds performances in a newly renovated 50-seat Black Box theater at 1900 Kane Street, Room 116.

ComedySportz is Houston’s longest running improv comedy show. Their flagship shows are clean and family friendly, but they also offer late night adult shows. Performances are held at the ComedySportz arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd.

Station Theater hosts a variety of improv, stand-up, and scripted acts. Originally performances were hosted at various venues around town, but in 2013 they opened their current location at 1230 Houston Ave.
